Wheat
and rail.

Two brand patterns for Russian Railways, Wheat and Path, and the merchandise that carries them. Both are built from shapes the railway already owns.

A pattern from
the brand itself.

Wheat: Russia is the world’s leading wheat exporter, and the railway plays an important part in that. The ears are built from a basic element of the Russian Railways identity and stand for fertility and economic strength.

Path: the pattern follows the cross-section of a rail to the GOST R 51685-2013 standard. It is strict and composed, and the absence of sharp corners keeps it calm: reliability, stability, confidence.

Wheat.

The ears stand in dense rows and shift rhythm from line to line. The pattern works white on grey, white on graphite and in a red and grey fragment.

Path.

Rail cross-sections interlock into a continuous band. The pattern is tested in grey, pink, graphite, gradient and red versions.

Mugs, cups
and bags.

The patterns move onto merchandise: grey mugs and cups with a red lid, bags in three colours and a pen in the Path pattern.
